Cannibalistic cooking with your ghetto gourmet Mars Tha Baby Body Chef. In this episode he teaches you how to ball on a budget with his "Mexican Prenatal Pot Roast" Chili Verde recipe. Also, we fucked up and left out the green chili's on the list in the actual video but the full cooking instructions and shopping list are below:
For quick shopping reference:
- 1 large Pot Roast
- 2 jars of Tomatillo Green Salsa
- 1 clove of Garlic chopped
- 1 can of whole mild Green Chili's chopped
- 2 or 3 small tomatoes chopped
- Half of a small Onion chopped
- Cooking oil
- Garlic salt
You're going to need a crock pot. Set the crock pot on low at 8 hours. Season the Pot Roast with Garlic Salt and Pepper on both sides. Rub the seasoning in. Place the Pot Roast in a pan with a little bit of oil and sear on both sides for about 3 minutes. Place the meat in the pot, in the center. Pour your green salsa over the meat. Chop up onions, tomatoes, garlic and green chili's in large chunks and add it to the salsa mixture. Place the top on the crock pot and leave covered for 8 hours on low. Break up the meat with a metal spoon and sirt. Serve. Refrigerate leftovers.
Serve with refried beans, guacamole, and tortillas.
Serve in a bowl with melted monterey jack cheese and use as a dip for tortilla chips.
Serve with sunny side up eggs and tortillas.
