THIS IS WHERE IT ALL BEGINS.
A friend of mine made a post about taking yourself serious a while back and it struck a chord with me. Since then I started taking myself seriously. I began tapping into who I am to the depths of my soul and into my core being.
It was opening up to myself then allowing the world to see that person. Choosing to no longer hide behind fear, what my parents want for me, what society deems is right for me, but being me 100%. Along the way, I’ve had to uncover my insecurities, get real with myself, deal with past issues head-on, close old thought patterns and habits, and even hear people say some pretty nasty things to me. Thankfully though, I chose to know myself and love myself enough to move forward. I just kept, and I just keep... swimming along.
I decided to stand firm in my worth, my waves, and my calling. Meaning, I know who I am and I love it all so much that I find peace in that. I know my waves are my strength and not my weaknesses so I find peace in that. I know my calling and I find peace in the guidance God provides me. I stand firm in His voice and who He’s created me to be.
So Kayla Dene? Yea, she blogs. She blogs regardless if you don’t quite understand what she’s doing. She blogs even if you don’t have anything nice to say. She blogs to showcase perspective. She blogs about her life because she knows her life isn’t just for her but for other people too. She blogs as a release because she deals with anxiety. She blogs to let you know you aren’t alone and in turn, she finds out she isn’t alone either. She blogs to talk about the hard times too. She blogs to remind us that we're all a big mess but it's what we do with that mess that matters. She blogs to encourage the world to live life to it’s fullest through loving ourselves and living our passion.
I show my life as inspiration (the post). I teach you how to do things from my past experiences (the courses). And I have a community so we can all do it together (the events and facebook group).
THIS IS WHERE IT ALL BEGINS. Deciding to know and love yourself and your dreams enough to not let anyone or anything get in the way. You know yourself and you know your calling enough so stand firm in that. God will guide you. Listen to your intuition and keep on deciding. That’s where it all begins. It’s where it all began for me. Enjoying the process because life is a journey and not a destination.
