Jorian Clair began her theatrical career as a stage actor in Los Angeles at age six, and became an international singer at age 18. She then took a hiatus from show business to attend college, where she decided to change careers. As a Journalist, she has earned numerous national awards for her nonfiction feature articles, as well as recognition for other creative works.

Jorian lost her sight to a genetic disease of the retina in 2000, but has never allowed her "invisible disability" to interfere with her goals. She has left her career as a journalist to concentrate on the writing of novels, screenplays and songs, and intermittent performances as a cabaret singer. She also is a Senior Red Belt in the Korean martial art of Tae Kwon Do.
