I have started a New Indiegogo Project to raise money for a possible business. No matter what I will be producing poetry videos often for free but Clara Hsu among many think I should try to make money off my projects. I will still do a least a fair percentage of videos for free but here is a poem inspired by Clara Hsu the co-host for a PEG TV Poetry Show I do.
“Ganesa, The Elephant in the Room”
(Ganesa the Elephant is the Hindu God of Wealth)
Giving should be rewarded when value is added to poems that spread more giving, and help you and I enjoy living.
When someone helps your name get listed in Google search and youtube, life becomes easier to enjoy as your credibility and social acknowledgement becomes more believing.
Giving although without pleasure capitalizes greedily.
Giving out of gratitude helps avoid the production of poetry based on platitudes...without a pittance of help, the video man, wishes he wasn’t trapped in his unasked for vow to poverty because now he will continue to be the one who is needy.
Giving because you have to, makes people ponder on rhymes that have too much of an attitude.
If one is enveloped within the beauty of the moment when you are filmed and get national comment, a donation to the producer brings about harmony, rather than a lament.
When exposure is given to rhymes that also help spread good times, sharing a poem can be like when your parents gave to the march of dimes.
The nation will hear your poetry on public access tv you will be at the podium in 3D.
While the Beatles said money won’t buy me love, I bet they shudder on thoughts of winter in Germany where the bitter winds slapped them. When hate had better gloves.
Walk the middle path, give to the poor, and give if you must, but if you can give to someone who helps you bask in Southern Exposure to the Sun of a balmy YOUTUBE TV season that might give you, the hence unknown poet closure, and composure.
