So here's an improvisation I actually bothered to record (just the audio, it's way too troublesome to set up the video camera for something that doesn't even sound that good. Alternatively, I'm just lazy.)
There isn't really a theme or emotion this improvisation is supposed to engender, it's just.. pure spontaneity. Which also means some parts sound discordant and fumbled, because well, they are. I'm not even thinking for most of it, I'm just pressing keys that feel right, however weird that sounds (both in terms of saying it, and listening to the end product).
Also, I claim an extreme case of nerves whenever I record myself playing, even if it's just audio, which doesn't bode very well for improvising. So yeah, most parts are played safe (and therefore slowly), so hopefully it doesn't sound too boring or anything.
