As happened with every other project he's begun, Irving Renquist (Brian Wohl) is bored with ghost hunting due to a distinct lack of ghosts in his immediate vicinity. Abandoning this obsession for the next big thing would be fine had he not convinced his best friend Julia Kelby (Erica Lynn Schmeck) to join his hunt, and had she not managed to snag a slot on TV pilot Chicago Haunts for their eventual ghost segment. His dwindling attention and lack of follow through is driving Julia crazy. Enter Dotti Parker (Angela Wascher), a sweet college girl who has caught Irving's fancy after a chance meeting at a local diner, and who maybe, just maybe has a ghost in her house on the Northwest Suburbs' hub of ghost activity, Cuba Road. Now, Irving and Julia, along with sidekick and resident "Q" Lonnie Hayden (Marc Muszynski), have something to investigate, but as the plot thickens and layer upon layer of the past is peeled back, Dotti's ghost may be something far more sinister than just a little boy named Alex who's taken up residence on the swing-set in her yard.
