    Shots of riders in the 2018 Indian Pacific Wheel Ride, 5500km across Australia from Fremantle to Sydney, including crossing part of the Nullarbor Plain. Photos start at Norseman, Western Australia, and finish near Poochera, South Australia. Only part of the crossing is true Nullarbor (treeless)--most of that is further inland.

    But there's no surface water. And it's almost un-peopled. And it's mind-bogglingly hard to grasp the sheer distances.

    I hope the video and music give a feel for the amazing accomplishment of the 50-odd riders who took part in this largely unsupported race across a continent. Show less
