• World Streets goes to the movies Play all

This two minute clip serves as a quick introduction to a series of short videos that have been selected in support of our World Streets program. We have selected twenty clips (ranging from 20 seconds to eight minutes), which are intended to remind you of the broad range of differences we face -- and the extent to which many of our cities are still locked into the bad old mobility approaches. As you will see: the good, the bad and the (very!) ugly. And of course if you have some eye- and mind-opening videos on our topic. please do not hesitate to get in touch with us so that we can post and share them with the new mobility networks. We believe in teamwork. Eric Britton, http://WorldStreets.org. Paris. 9 July 2011.

  • World Streets Play all

The focus of World Streets is the challenge of sustainable transport and sustainable cities. World Streets is part of a larger program with four main functions and objectives: (a) It is a specialized weekly journal. (b) An open collaborative international network. (c) An in-depth international resource. And finally (d) an active lobby for sustainable transportation, sustainable cities and sustainable lives, supporting projects and programs all over the world. You can see more on this by clicking here for a fast-read presentation of the program's high points -- World Streets in brief at http://worldstreets.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/ws-4-4sum...
