On Thursday, January 3, the opening ceremony of the Amengual Park was held, a project initiated by the previous government. A green lung of 10 hectares located at the intersection of Reina Sueca and Los Ediles streets, near the Municipality of Pudahuel.
The event was attended by the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Cristián Monckeberg, the Metropolitan Mayor, Karla Rubilar, the mayor of Pudahuel, Johnny Carrasco and his municipal council.
If we take it to figures, this project cost about 9 billion pesos ($ 8,938,807,000).
The Communal Union of Committees of Allegados of the commune of Pudahuel - headed by Manuel Ibarra, its president - took advantage of the instance to demand the mayor to fulfill an alleged commitment made to the organization in a meeting held a few weeks ago: a contribution of one thousand million ($ 1,000,000,000) of pesos of the total of one thousand five hundred million ($ 1,500,000,000), approved for the construction of houses by the local municipal council.
