I have had Akitas for over 30 years and been doing rescue for 28. This was interesting, but these dogs look fairly young and fairly non-aggressive. When we place Akitas in a household with an existing dog, we will do an initial meet at a distance and letting them get closer as the walk goes on. If there is no aggression, we will let them meet. But even after that meet, we recommend a longer "get to know you period", especially with mature Akitas. .
This is not true. There are many nice pitties out there that are not aggressive. The aggression comes from poor breeding practices and stupid owners.
