PEOPLE (Pre-College Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence) is a pre-college pipeline for students of color and low-income students, most of whom are the first in their families to potentially attend college. This video specifically highlights career opportunities in food and agriculture. It was produced in conjunction with the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) with support from the Community and Regional Food System Project. In May 2012 the CRFS Project invited food system leaders from Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee, Madison and Cedar Rapids to our National Meeting in Milwaukee. They were asked to draw a "map" of their city's food system and explain it to world. These are their reports.
