The fireworks cutscene in Majora's Mask only plays during the first three-day-cycle, at midnight on the final day (unless Link is located in South Clock Town). However, depending on the player's location when the bell tolls for the final hours, the game will play one of two possible cutscenes for the event. This alternative cutscene is only seen when the player is located outside of Clock Town, either at the Astral Observatory, or in the underground passage that leads to it.
