Transitions unravel in layers—interjecting, weaving, and moving forward all at once. In the context of gradual changes, transitions are those natural movements that unfold as part of a continual process of being and becoming, progressively building on foundations that already exist. In other ways, transitions disrupt those foundations. Sudden and newfound, it is in these moments of unexpectedness—marked by challenges, or that uneasy fear of not knowing what comes next—that hope also lives and springs forth as a driving force, as that hesitation you swallow when you take that leap of faith…sometimes by choice, and other times for survival.
Transitions are the delicate, nuanced navigating between multiple spaces, and the living in that in-between. They are the pain that coexists alongside courage, next to growth, sitting by opportunity, whispering in uncertainty's ear, sharing breath with change and transformation. Constant yet always in-flux, transitions are active—relating, moving, and connecting.
