Once car parts go out of production, it can be very difficult to replace or repair a lost or broken one.
That's the case with this center brake light from this 1998 SN95 Ford Mustang GT. The tail light is no longer manufactured, so to restore a like-new look to the piece, Greg must restore the one that is on the car.
Watch as Greg explains that detailing can sometimes restore car parts that are no longer made to a like-new appearance. Because the light is in a difficult spot, Greg chooses to remove the light from the car to sand and polish it on a work table. With the light easily restored, Greg protects it with a coat of durable JetSeal sealant, and reattaches the light to the car for a job well done!
