  • KASR Video ASU's Video Show Season 1: 1992-1993 Play all

    KASR Video (aka KASR-V) was a 2 hour music video show that aired on late night public acess across the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix, Tempe, etc...) in the 1990's.

    Primarily designed to promote the Arizona State University's radio station, the program featured a mix of new alternative and metal music.

    Hosted by DJ's turned VJ's the show centered around the Diablo brothers: Bobby (Metal) & Mike (Alternative) Diablo, along with Ed Stone and his Mill Ave Party Cam.

    The following videos are selected segments from various episodes and feature interviews from a variety of bands and artists.

    Season 1 Highlights: Music Festivals in Los Angeles and New York City. Backstage at a White Zombie and Sacred Reich concert.

    Interviews with Urge Overkill, King Missle, Pro-Pain, Gruntruck, Gin Blossoms, Asphalt Ballet, Greta and White Zombie.
