I first set up this channel in 2010 after I got a HD camcorder, and decided that I would record video of some of my favourite Brisbane musicians.   I was going to a lot of their gigs, and by doing this I found that recording and sharing their songs on YouTube helped to promote them as artists and get their music out to a wider world audience.
Over the years, this small list of music artists has increased to a rather large one, and continues to grow.
This channel is all about promoting local musicians and their music, and I do not advertise or take any money from anything on the site.  I do it because I see something very special in live music, and the fact that we can go out to a venue and see amazingly-talented people getting up on stage right in front of us and making wonderful music.
I am lucky to know so many very talented musicians, and I hope that by you checking out their songs here may help to promote them and get their music out there.
