All That Glittered is a story of a boy who was adopted by a British family and brought up on an RAF camp Uxbridge, UK.
He goes back 40 years later to the place where it all went wrong to find that he has grown into a strong man.
Walking with ghosts, memories of his deceased father, the only sunshine memory of his childhood.
A survivor of children’s homes, institutions, homelessness and a pedophile ring, now closing the chapter and having a positive say.
I hope to inspire people from broken homes, childhood trauma, institutions, abusive parents etc., that you do survive. Because that boy was me.
One of the only songs that I have penned about my journey and early lost childhood. It was a surreal experience.
A time capsule. A Photograph. A moment in time, I was once here.
It is important to create new memories. It is essential to go back and inject love into an empty space and move forward.
I would like to thank RAF Uxbridge for the overwhelming kindness and support they showed me and allowed us to shoot in the original places where it all happened.
In memory of Geoffrey Norman Ingram.
Rest in peace. You are an amazing man.
I know you were with me.
