The evidence for such internal ramps would be obvious not hidden.
They would have used counterweighted lifting cranes in flights. The pyramids would have been bristling with timber cranes when being built. These are the 'machines" Herodotus records.
Jean Pierre suggests their use at the open corners only to justify Herodotus's "machines". 20 men and some timber can handle and turn a 2.5 ton block.
The Egyptians were clever practical people,but I'm affraid Jean Pierre certainly isn't.
