We normally cut with plasma and the screen is customized from the electronics manufacturer (Cand CNC). The sheet thickness is 1". I thought it might be too much for my Hypertherm 65 so we used my friends oxy-propane torch. Cut rate was 13 inches per minute. The kerf was likely close to 1/8", a perfectly vertical cut with smooth edges. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Rob

I bought the government surplus potato peeler for $2 at an auction sale. Apparently the peelers work quite well but if you leave the potatoes in there too long the abrasive sides keep grinding away at them until they dissapear. The drill motor might be too small, even this unit with a 1/3 hp motor works it fairly hard would overheat until I put a forced fan for cooling. If you could use brushes with very still plastic bristles it would work better, the brushes I used in this unit are soft.
It woudn't be too hard to get out.
