If you watched VH1’s Make or Break: The Linda Perry Project, you definitely know Miami Hip Hop artist, Anjuli Stars. Linda Perry signed Anjuli to her label Custard Records on the shows grand finale on September 3rd, 2014. What most people don’t know is, Anjuli Stars is a singer/rapper who attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA on a singing scholarship. During the shows filming, Anjuli had been experiencing extreme vocal fatigue which prevented her from using her singing voice during most of the filming of the show.
#FindingMyVoice is a vlogumentary documenting the making of Anjuli Stars' debut album alongside platinum selling Producer/Songwriter Linda Perry in Los Angeles. Since the beginning of the album-making process, Anjuli has continued to struggle with severe vocal issues, which has resulted in a 6- month delay in the recording process. This series will cover the emotional trials she is facing in order to heal her voice and deliver the substance needed to create an album that will not only set her apart but also establish her as a creative force in music today.
