Himachal Pradesh 2014 Memories -- Vid 7
Rising at 5 am, moments before sunrise and recording the Himalayan peaks caressed by first rays of sun, has been my routine exercise at all Himalayan destinations. Kalpa was no exception. On 29th April at 5.14 am, the lone star shining bright over Kinnaur Kailash range made it clear that it was going to a cloudless sunlit day. As first rays of sun lit up a few mountain peaks positioned directly in it's path, in pink hue, the other peaks look brighter and we have a re-look at the famous peaks of Kinnaur Kailash, Jorkanden and Ralden and the tiny Sivling ( with the aid of high zoom - a combination of optical and digital zoom ). The constant cooing of birds in different pitch and frequency are the only sound audible at this hour. At 6.37 am, the sun peeps over the peaks, spreading shafts of bright light, it was time to plan our activities for the day. THIS VIDEO HAS NOT BEEN ENHANCED FOR COLOR.
