Mac on Tobac is commentary on the toll tobacco is taking on those dependent on nicotine from tobacco products, their families and the community. The downside of tobacco is demonstrated by the deaths of 440,000 American residents a year and the grief of 4 innocent family victims suffering from each one these tragic, preventable deaths of loved ones. They number in the millions. We suggest information and better public health policies. Tobacco companies spend billions to promote their legal but lethal products. There are not enough challenges to the marketing of these products. It is time more voices are raised to pretest this worldwide genocide of tobacco users. Our children are the next generation of victims.
