WTO Director-General Roberto Azevêdo met with apprentices at a Rolls-Royce Deutschland facility in Dahlewitz, near Berlin, Germany, to hear what trade means for their jobs and how young people are trained to perform cutting edge engineering in a fast changing manufacturing environment. The Director-General also toured the facility, which builds and tests aircraft engines made with thousands of components supplied by 900 small and large companies from around the world.
