Ebright Entertainment Enterprises - Since 1969

Beginning as a drummer and singer in rock and roll bands in Michigan, Scott moved to San Francisco in 1971 where he formed a booking agency to manage and promote bands and artists. He also played drums and sang in many bands. Ebright introduced a new format of live entertainment by promoting the very first tributes to Elvis, Beach Boys, and oldies shows. By the mid 1970's, he performed as a DJ, spearheading THE FIRST DISCOS in the San Fran Area. At this same time, Scott invented karaoke. That's right! Karaoke was not invented by the Japanese! AudioSynTrac (AST) was the first sing-along concept Scott launched as a viable new entertainment medium. Since then, "sing along music" has become a multi-billion dollar a year business and is a mainstay form of musical entertainment throughout the world. Wikipedia lies about who invented karaoke!
