As a true fan of Van the Man I must say this impersonation was spot on. be it the way he interacts with the band and with the audience, the music style (the end for example sounds a lot like Come Running),the singing (even if slightly exaggerated),the adlibs/scatting, the clothes..everything is brilliant except perhaps for the beer gimmick that doesn't go with Van Morrison's image (in recent times VM has banned beer from being sold at his gigs)..and also VM's a bit larger than JF these days:p
She actually has according to Rumer's facebook page, although the episode hasn't been neither announced nor released on the Daryl's House website just yet.
The Dutch clearly started the fight, with the unmistakable intention of injuring the portuguese players. And when the referee doesn't send Boulahrouz off for that murderous foul he does at the beginning, the portuguese (spearheaded by Costinha) start defending themselves with the same weapons as the dutch.
not to mention Joss Stone
Ever heard of Bootsy Collins? James Jamerson? Pino Palladino? To name a few that I haven't seen on this comments list..
On Avalon Sunset
It's the great James Jamerson, who was borrowed from Motown's rhythm section for this occasion.
the songs sound so much better with the volume of the bass guitar all the way up! I know the bass is not supposed to be in the front, but I kinda wish it was not all in the back at times.
At 2:40 aren't you supposed to play F# instead of G on the D string? Don't mean to diss, your videos are really great, and so is your playing.
Don't mean to sound macho or something, but it's always sexy a woman who clearly knows how to work her bass guitar
your videos are great man, valuable resources for people learning the bass or for those like me more interested of having an image of how the songs get played on this wonderful instrument
