On Saturday, November 9th 2013, the Barrelrollman Organization held the 3rd Roll Off at Art Hill, Forest Park, St Louis, MO, USA where we broke the Guinness World Record for "Most People Doing Somersaults".
We were recognized on November 19th, 2013 by Guinness World Records (http://www.guinnessworldrec...
...) for breaking the record with 865 people simultaneously somersaulting. This event broke the 835 person record placed in Switzerland in 2011 by the Cleven-Becker Foundation, an organization founded by former German tennis star Boris Becker. The Barrelrollman Organization salutes the City of St. Louis for breaking this Guinness World Record while helping the Nurses For Newborns (http://www.nfnf.org
). We asked for a $3 donation per entrant, raising over $4,000 at the event for NFN.
This event was filmed with 2 Nikon D800s, 1 Panasonic HVX200, 1 GoPro Hero2 and 1 GoPro Hero3 attached to a DJI Phantom Quadcopter with an Arris CM2000 Brushless Gimbal. Lead videographer Lantern Creek Productions (http://www.lanterncreekprod...
) produced the video with assistance from DJI pilot Andy Schulz and GoPro camera operator Carolina Wong.
