Death by Opiate #overdose is preventable. I lost my 23 year old son unnecessarily to overdose, and have since learned that his death was preventable. #Naloxone saves lives.
I found a bottle of #naloxone in his room after he passed. I didn't know about #naloxone and was not given this choice.http://www.conversationstha...
"Conversations That Make A Difference" #BigVisionBook is a collaborative book which contains the chapter "Vote for Hope" that I wrote in the sole interest of helping other mothers know about the conversation of naloxone...one I didn't know to have with my son.
The road to #recovery can be very long. #VoteForHope is message of giving more help to those on that road. A breath is another chance for hope.
#VoteForHope brings that message of hope. While I lost the fight for Brendon's life, in my grief I have learned that there were other choices... choices I didn't know about. No mother should ever lose a child needlessly. No grandparent, no father, no aunt or uncle, no brother or sister... overdose hurts everyone.
Please help others who are or have a loved one struggling with a serious #addiction. I invite you to share this message and give it wings. It may just save a life.
The "Vote for Hope" chapter of "Conversations That Make a Difference" can be life saving information for anyone who is or has a loved one struggling with a loved on facing an opiate addiction.
The Brendon Project, http://www.thebrendonprojec...
is a project of Love and honors those we've lost to #overdose.
Vote for Hope is for those still fighting and struggling with daily life. Please help raise awareness about #naloxone and share this message that there is 'hope'. Give the gift of #life.
