About the Speakers
Mark Stone joined Safety-Kleen in August 2009 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Mr. Stone served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Zale Corporation from May 2005 to February 2009. Mr. Stone was with Zale Corporation for 14 years and worked in IT, Planning, Database Marketing, and Distribution. Prior to working at Zale Corporation, Mr. Stone served as the Director of Financial Operations for the Resolution Trust Corporation. Mr. Stone is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University and a Masters in Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary.
Cathy Hotka knows most of the retail chief information officers in North America, and creates opportunities for retail leaders to network with one another. Her firm creates networking events, summits, and parties, and helps technology companies create go-to-market strategies for retail. Clients include the largest technology companies, media and event companies, and associations. She created the CIO Councils for the National Retail Federation and the Retail Industry Leaders Association, and staffed the American Petroleum Institute's IT Committee and its subcommittees, after six years in the White House and Capitol Hill. She has extensive experience in working with senior-level decision-makers and in coalescing clients and providers around technology approaches. She has been honored by Computerworld, CIO Magazine, Executive Technology, and Infosys Technologies and serves as a judge for CIO Magazine's honors programs.
