Here at Rutland Cycling, myself and Uldis have just been out for a nice sunny ride, taking our our Giant Defys, Defy 1 and Giant Defy 3. Had a great ride, I was riding the Defy 1, so aluminium frame, carbon forks with a 105 groupset and Uldis was riding the Defy 3 with a sora groupset.
So what did you think Uldis?
I think it's a great bike, good value for the money, I wish I'd have a bike like that when I started cycling.
Yea, for sure things have gotten a lot better now than when we were both starting cycling, you know, value for money, entry level road bikes they're just really good.
So the whole point behind Giant's Defy bike, it's more of a long distance, club run, sportive riding bike, so what they've done is shorten the top tube a little bit and made the handlebars higher so it's more comfortable. You've got mudguard eyelets on the carbon forks and you have mudguard eyelets at the back so really good training bike for the winter, stick your mudguards on and keep yourself dry. It's fairly light, they both have Giant's P-R2 wheels on so they always get good write ups on the wheels. The one is complete 105 and the Defy 3 is a Sora.
So here at Rutland cycling we have all sizes, all built up so they range from an extra small, small, medium, medium large, large and an extra large. They're all built up, they're ready to go, we have the facilities to come and test ride them, so come down to Rutland Cycling Whitwell today. We won't be beaten on price, come speak to us about that and take away a great entry level bike to get yourself into cycling.
