I am absolutely in love with the story behind the beauty of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)...a celebration originated in Mexico that is recognized as a Holiday and starts on November 1 & November 2. Although some places in the world celebrate the Holiday on Oct 31, it is not to be mistaken as Halloween. What is Día de los Muertos? It is a time for when people celebrate, pray and remember loved ones (friends and family) who have passed away. It is a time when those who have passed are remembered and acknowledge for their lives they had on Earth. I decided to put my own spin on my inspiration of it with my friend Olivia and recreate this look. I entered this video in a contest for Audfaced as well under the categories "Best Makeup" and "Best Recreation". I had fun creating this look...I also made the headpiece myself building it on Olivia as I went. This is not a tutorial video...it simply is to show the process...and for you to just sit back and enjoy and see how it came to be. I hope you enjoy it!
Special thanks to my good friend, Olivia Cipolla for being a part of my project. I love you! xoxo Check her out here: http://www.oliviacipolla.com
