Magellan pioneered the Active ETF in Australia (and the world) in 2015 and since then there has been other reputable Australian fund managers follow suit. Magellan was formed in 2006 by Hamish Douglas and Chris McKay to generate attractive returns for investors by investing in global equities and listed global infrastructure whilst also protecting their capital.
