Sebastian Diezig, cello - http://www.SebastianDiezig.com Today we continue the Piatti Project with Caprice No. 3. Definitely the most difficult caprice so far because it's all octaves and thirds. I practiced a lot but was never satisfied so finally I just went to my violinmaker and told him to cut the bridge down a bit. That made the piece a little less unplayable.
In November 2014 I set out to learn and record all of Alfredo Piatti's 12 Caprices for cello solo. The journey will take me probably 2-3 years because I knew only caprice no. 12 before getting started. I will post the videos here on my Youtube channel as I get ahead.
