In the words of the Sunday Telegraph, "each year the exquisite market town of Marlborough becomes a mini New Orleans". Marlborough International Jazz was founded in 1986. As well as individual concerts, a major feature is the "Stroller". These are tickets that enable the holder to see a large number of bands in over 20 locations on Friday evening from 6pm and Saturday from before 12 noon until after midnight. Bands range from famous touring stars - and many of the home-grown variety - to young and up-and-coming groups. Over the years we have built our reputation on booking bands that are on the way to the top and these return year after year. Featured artists in recent years include: Clare Teal, The Jive Aces, The Darius Brubeck Quartet, The Red Stripe Band and many many more. For the artists we represent a real opportunity to get close to their audience. As Chris Jagger put it, "normally we play in a place and clear off, but at Marlborough we meet old and new friends year by year
