Hey guys! I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend. Kids and I kicked off the-unofficial summer on Memorial Day. It was a fun and relaxing time spent on the lake followed by shopping and dining at the outdoor mall.
Of course Memorial Day isn’t just an excuse for a long weekend but it’s also a time to remember the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country and for us to have the freedom to pursue happiness and live in a safe and secure place.
The Lakes is a gorgeous and amazing neighborhood in Las Vegas, NV. Katrina, Isabella, John and I love visiting our little friends there, the ducks, pigeons, and the fishes. They picked up leaves and flowers, observed insects, threw rocks, and etc.
In an age of TV, computers, and electronic gadgets or academics and extra-curricular activities children nowadays, are left with little time or even no time to play outdoors. I have always embraced and supported the philosophy of "biophiloa", the love and compassion we humans have for other living things. I made sure my children Katrina, Isabella and John, explode the nature at a young age and have taught them the compassion towards animals, living things including plants and flowers. I strongly believe connections on a one-to-one basis with Mother Nature is an essential part of childhood and growing up to connect on a one-to-one basis with Mother Nature and animals.
I edited this little vlog for you guys - sharing the highlights from our Memorial Day weekend on the lake however, feel free to real the full blog post on www.iHeartMarina.com. See link below.http://iheartmarina.com/201...
