The Made In Mole Valley project is inviting budding film-makers to submit three to five minute short films, that feature Mole Valley, with a 2012 Games-inspired theme. The project was launched as part of the 2011 Arts Alive Festival and was awarded the Inspire Mark by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games in December 2011. A panel of judges will be appointed to select the best films which will be featured on the Mole Valley District Council website and other websites, including YouTube. Films might highlight local culture be it history, landmarks, arts events, local artists, nature, sport or more and can be documentary, animation, fiction, narrative, experimental, music video or any other types. They can be filmed in a variety of mediums, for example mobile phones, digital camera, webcams, camcorders or professional film equipment The winning films may also be featured on big screens in Mole Valley during the Olympic Cycling Road Race weekend.
