Start your day right with these warming and energising Dru Yoga activations.
Lucy takes you through a short series of movements designed to warm up the muscles and joints - ideal for first thing in the morning or if you have been sitting or standing for a while and need to re-energise.
Starting with shaking out you will loosen the arms and legs, then progress on to a gentle spinal twist to warm up the spine and release tension from the back. Step forward and back on both sides to open the chest and build confidence, finishing with a soothing figure of eight to ease the whole body into the day ahead.
This video forms part of the Dru It Yourself series of classes, a programme of Dru Yoga classes from Lucyoga which focus on learning postures and sequences that you can practice at home.
