    Start your day right with these warming and energising Dru Yoga activations.

    Lucy takes you through a short series of movements designed to warm up the muscles and joints - ideal for first thing in the morning or if you have been sitting or standing for a while and need to re-energise.

    Starting with shaking out you will loosen the arms and legs, then progress on to a gentle spinal twist to warm up the spine and release tension from the back. Step forward and back on both sides to open the chest and build confidence, finishing with a soothing figure of eight to ease the whole body into the day ahead.

    This video forms part of the Dru It Yourself series of classes, a programme of Dru Yoga classes from Lucyoga which focus on learning postures and sequences that you can practice at home.

    Please practice yoga safely. If you have any health concerns please contact your doctor before starting a yoga programme.

    This video has been created to accompany Lucyoga classes, the participants of which have all completed a health questionnaire and taken part in a guided class.
