The Leadership Foundation can support leaders at every stage of their careers. All our open programmes offer invaluable opportunities to reflect on practice, work alongside colleagues from other institutions, and explore recent thinking on university leadership at each level.
The open programmes are designed for clear progression as leaders develop within and beyond their institutions, and it is not unusual for participants to make their way up the ladder of programmes at intervals of one or two years between each programme.
As the largest specialist provider of leadership development to higher education we have a unique understanding of the complex challenges faced by vice-chancellors, pro-vice-chancellors, senior managers, academics and higher education professionals as they pursue their leadership goals.
All of our accredited, quality-assured coaches are experienced in higher education as well as having complementary experience in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Our diverse range of coaches means we can offer different styles, approaches and coaching expertise, from the most senior to more general team coaches, and we always carefully match you with the best possible coach for your needs.
Launched in November 2013, Aurora is our women-only leadership development programme. Over the last two years, 1473 women and 128 institutions and higher education sector bodies have engaged in Aurora. Year three sees Aurora coming to five more cities, across six cohorts.
