  • I would guess it was flagged because people thought it was a shallow comment. Love is universal and thus not to be sneered at as a topic for music, however to dismiss the Beatles as "singing about Love" is to dismiss a huge part of their output. Norwegian Wood, A Day in the Life, I Am the Walrus, Strawberry Fields Forever, Come Together, Get Back, the examples go on and on.

  • Its not that hard to understand assuming you have a functioning brain. People hear about this "really incredibly funny" SNL bit and so curiosity makes them check it out. What they find is pretty much just the same old crap. The "men acting like women" thing has been done to death (and wasn't that funny to begin with) and this wasn't a particularly clever version. It was mainly just stupid and crude with no redeeming characteristics. But hey if you like it then good on you!

  • Interesting comment. Those of us who lived through those years (I was young but I was there) will never be able to get beyond the emotion and partisan rancor. Because of the large body of film that exists of Nixon, I suspect he will fair far better, when the history of his times is written in the distant future, than his enemies, even now, anticipate.
