Mantra: Tumare Darshan
Tumare Darshan Ki bela
Ye mausam ras rachane ka.
Liye ullas ki sanse
Samai masti me jine ka.
The season has arrived where
I will finally see you and dance
With the breathing in of joy,
it is time to live in bliss.
Part of the mantra sang in this song is Sita Ram.
Meditating with Sita Ram Mantra -
In the ancient texts of the Ramayana, Ram means Our Soul, or the super consciousness, truth and virtue. And Sita - the eternal consort of Ram - means the primal energy or the Kundalini Shakti. Feminine dynamic. Together they compliment and complete the whole.
Rama (or Ram) is considered the perfect man (mariya purshottama). He is the symbol of the inner fire (agni) element that is within the 3rd, or Manipur Chakra (discus) in the solar plexus (our inner sun), which burns our bodies' physical, mental, and spiritual impurities and even our karma.
All seeing, all being
Sita exemplifies the perfect woman and as kundalini Shakti, resides in the 1st Chakra, the Mooladhar or root chakra representing the earth element. The Sita mantra activates the flow of prana in the Sushumna Nadi (energy centers of the spine), causing the the Kundalini Shakti to rise upwards through all the Chakras.
A subtle friction of energy vibration is produced with the constant chanting of Sita Ram mantra.
The Ida and Pingla nadis, or as we know in the west our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, gets activated and the Vagus Nerve or the Sushumna Nadi begins to vibrate.
The Sita Ram mantra balances the both sides of brain. It harmonizes and vitalizes the whole body, cleansing toxins and impurities, removing blockages and activating our self awareness... shedding light in what were once dark recesses of our body, mind, spirit trinity.
