A rapid-fire video of the things I like to make videos about: Exploring Arizona's canyons, mountains & abandoned mines; crappy Phoenix drivers (they give me PTSD!), #flowerporn, off roading, Glasgow Celtic, and a few other odds & ends. Check out my blog & twitter:
Exploring mines & mineral hunting, mostly in Arizona. Paul is my normal mining guide / mineral expert. Arizona mines typically are Gold (Au), Silver (Ag) and especially copper (Cu). They often include lead (Pb) and Zinc (Zn) & other minerals.
The Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway will add 22 miles to the Loop 202 interstate ring around Phoenix, completing the portion between Chandler and the I-10 Papago Freeway. The route follows Pecos Rd., then along the border between South Mountain Park and the Gila River Indian Community. Many houses were condemned along Pecos Road and in Dusty Lane, next to the Vee Quiva Casino.
Every six months, I am hiking the Center Segment, between Pecos Road and Dusty Lane, to document the changes which are taking place.
Mostly Old West & pioneer graveyards, cemeteries and other places where folks are buried. (As opposed to memorials, which mark where they died.) Includes the Oatman Massacre burials and the final resting place of the Powers family, of Powers Cabin Shootout fame.
Beautiful terrain in the Silver State. Join me as I hike Nevada, mostly in Clark County, as that is closest to Phoenix, Arizona, where I live, and a 5-hour drive away. Hiking one of many things to do in Las Vegas that don't have to do with gambling!
I support Scotland's Glasgow Celtic, whose Lisbon Lions won the European Cup in 1967, and whose Invincibles won the Scottish treble, undefeated, in 2017. If you are a Celtic supporter, join the Bobby Murdoch Jr. Phoenix CSC for televised matches at Rosie McCaffrey's Irish Pub, 906 E. Camelback in Phoenix, Arizona.
