Wonderful. Who is singing/playing?
Won't someone please tell me where this strange pronunciation of Classical Latin came from? I don't understand what's going on here...
Feeling stupid in Rindge, New Hampshire.
This is wonderful - even *without* consideration of the fact that this is (only) a church choir, presumably with amateur singers. The sound, ensemble, and intonation are beautiful, and it is sung with great feeling. I loved it.
I liked this very much. She plays very well, and Bageshri and Ahir Bhairav are two of my favorite raags. Thanks for posting this!
This is not raag Shankara, it is Khansahib's usual gat in Hameer. No one else plays Hameer with such propulsive energy as he does!
EXCELLENT, Frank - both in the music itself and in the playing! I am impressed! Congratulations! J.
She was so exquisitely beautiful! And a damned good actress too - better than Garbo or Bergman, I feel.
Beautiful and devout in feeling. Of course it is not perfect technically, but it is much better than their "Tu es Petrus", by Morales. (Which, also, despite numerous problems, I found moving.) These young, amateur (I think) singers from Málaga are good!
