Glad the soundtrack is now complete! I remember first seeing a preview of this game in GamePro in like 1996 and thought it was the coolest looking shit ever. I bought it, started snowboarding and started overusing the word "dude" immediately afterwards.
Also, I wasn't aware that magic is leveled faster when weapons are drawn. That would explain going up only 1 point each time with the girl when I was leveling Dryad for the Mana Beast battle. Thanks!
It's ridiculous that iron and wine and bon iver and all these nu-folk people get so much cred for their music and its roots and their quoted influences, but not this single album. I prefer it that way, though.
Hey, sorry, I've been in the process of getting a new computer. The one I had the soundtrack on shat out and died. I'll have to download a quick movie making program to put Oblivion up, otherwise, I can just send you the iTunes file if you want.
I'll upload it as soon as I can! My favorite course is still the extra trick course.
man this whole walkthrough has been the best. Thanks Vash, it's kinda like I have a ps3 and can play MGS4 with a funny dude making old guy jokes through the whole thing right next to me.
Corey formolo is gay and short and so are backflips. You're supposed to measure your board by the length of your dick.. so either stop riding soft baby jib boards or get a bigger dick.
You should try to get a 50 in the pipe. The highest I've gotten is a 49.7 three times, but theres a guy who made a Cool Boarders 2 website when the game first came out that put up a screenshot of his 50.0, so it's not impossible. You just have to alternate spin/flips/misties to grab combos, and not repeat a single one.
Hahah nice, that's the same combo I used (Yaggi, Type 3 All-Around)
Fuck yeah, CB1 forever. I play this more (which is a lot) than I did when I was in 3rd grade. I don't wanna brag, I was pretty good then, but now, I'm unbelievable.
Here's a trick not many people know about - when prepping for a jump, say you're holding down jump and up-left to do a misty.. right before you let go, make a circle on the d-pad all the way back to your original position, up-left. Be sure not to let off the d-pad while you're doing this or it won't work. If you do it right, you'll do a 'corkscrew' (you can tell, because your boarder's body does a weird twist motion), which really speeds up rotation and gives you a much higher score.
Fucking awesome.. I'd like to hear your take on some Cool Boarders 1 music
