Another Hungarian Classic from the secrets of Hungarian cooking as revealed by Chef Helen Czegeny (Ilona Szabo) through her delightful recipe videos.
Here is an ancient Hungarian Classic Dish called Lecsó (Let-Choh). It is simply a stew of onions, various shaped and sized fresh peppers including hot and yellow banana peppers, tomatoes and paprika. By adding sliced Kolbász, it becomes a main dish. Serve as a side dish with any breaded meat; veal or pork. Excellent with scrambled eggs for breakfast! Many people refer to this is the Hungarian Ratatouille.
