Research Grants For Clinical And Human Experimental Pain Research

• Biennial grants totalling € 200,000 from Grünenthal GmbH to support young scientists early in their career to carry out innovative clinical pain research in any member country of European Pain Federation EFIC® (see www.EFIC.org).
• Individual research grants are valued at up to € 40,000 per project 
• Research Grants are intended for clinical and human experimental pain research. Research proposals on animals, computer simulations, cell lines etc. will not be considered.
•  The decision of the awards is made independently by the EFIC® Scientific Research Committee.

EFIC-Grünenthal Grant 2016 Winners will be awarded at the 10th EFIC® Congress (Copenhagen, Denmark, 6-9 September 2017).

The scientific framework of the E-G-G is under the responsibility of the European Pain Federation (EFIC®). The pharmaceutical company Grünenthal GmbH is responsible for funding and non-financial support (e.g. logistical support).
