while it does appear that way in the films, according to cannon, about 80% of the stormtroopers were recruited, not cloned, sometime between the Clone War and New Hope.
saying we shouldn't have Jabba's scene in episode IV so that future generations will be able to experience the mystery of who Jabba is, is dumb. Future generations will likely watch episode I before episode IV, and Jabba is in episode I, so... already spoiled.
there are other Zelda enemies more pathetic than moblins. how about octoroks, miniblins, bokoblins, or any of the blob-type enemies?
love how he says no battle will ever be this epic when talking about 300, yet it was rated number 2 after the Battle of Helm's Deep
what sort of evil scientist puts an off switch to his own life support system on his console?
if you're going to talk about a theory, at least try to present some evidence that supports the theory, even if it's weak or there's not much to go on, don't just repeat what someone told you with nothing to back it up. also, the vid has nothing to do with what you're discussing. third, why aren't you drifting while playing Mario Kart??? dude, you could be boosting around those curves!
what if the scene with the merchant in Alladin takes place after the sequels and series? perhaps the entire franchise is just being retold by the Genie...
comicbook logic: machine fails to duplicate radioactive isotope, but duplicates an alien's biology so well that the duplicate has all of his power, yet doesn't duplicate the weakness. also, blowing up a kryptonian doppleganger can cure blindness.
I'd be perfectly ok with that, or the other way around. 4th and 10th are awesome. Although, I have a soft spot for 11th now... and 7th...
I bet the Doctor saw Derren in his hotel room.
love how Katie says in this vid Beauty and the Beast teaches that beauty is only skin deep, and in "4 worst lessons" she claims it doesn't.
Dante's Peak came out 3 years after Volcano, so it doesn't meet the criteria they gave for even getting on the list.
the one that made me laugh was the golf cart crash at the end. how was that not in the countdown?
for the same reason Obi didn't just pick up Grievous and hold him in mid-air during his duel: it's not as exciting to watch
why was number 4 rated '3 rage faces' but number 3 was rated '1 rage face'?
as awesome as triples look, you're usually better off with a dual and single. Antipode 3 + Luminare does more damage than Delta Force for example.
Rare was freaking awesome, and like you said, after they were bought out by Microsoft, most of their old talent left, so I don't think it's fair to call Rare a bad company, when they're under Microsoft's orders now. Also, as for EA, how about all their non-sports games? LJN and Zynga deserve to be here, but Capcom only recently (within the past few years) started doing things to land on this list, so does it really deserve to be in the top 5?
I think that in the Primes and original Metroid, each incarnation of Ridley was just seriously injured and revived using cybernetics, hence why we have Meta Ridley and Omega Ridley, but in Super Metroid, the fight with Ridley is supposed to end with him picking up Samus and self-destructing, i.e. it's supposed to be the first time he actually is completely destroyed, and Other M takes place right after that, although Ridley in Other M is a clone, so... meh
