Food allergy and gluten intolerance, my medical experience.
Welcome, I'm Dr Rodney Ford. I am going to tell you about my medical qualifications and my clinical experience. I did my medical degree (MB.BS) at the New South Wales University in Sydney, Australia. I went on to earn my fellowship which is the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and I trained in Paediatrics http://www.racp.org.nz
. I then did a doctorate, a medical doctorate (MD) and I wrote this thesis, "Food Hypersensitivity in children: approaches to diagnosis". After that I ran clinics in allergy & gastroenterology in Melbourne http://www.rch.org.au
, and then in London and latterly in Christchurch, New Zealand.
During all of this time I have written over 100 medical reviewed journal articles. I have subsequently, gone on to write chapters in food allergy books and gastroenterology textbooks. And after all of that, I have also written 10 popular books on food allergy, gluten syndrome and eczema (which have been converted into eBooks) http://www.smashwords.com/b...
So what am I going to do with all of this experience? I can only see people in my clinic face-to-face. So, I have brought all of my clinical and medical experience together and I have created an on-line consultant service, for food allergy and food intolerance (this includes the gluten syndrome and gluten problems (gluten-related disorder). We call this the eClinic.
