Threshold Festival of Music & Arts
3 Day Event: 28th - 30th March 2014
The Baltic Triangle, Liverpool

Liverpool's critically acclaimed grass-roots multi-arts festival, Threshold, returns this coming Spring for its 4th year in the Baltic Triangle. The festival, which will take place on 28th-30th March, has established a reputation as the place to see the next generation of musical and artistic talent with noted past performers such as Stealing Sheep, Esco Williams, All We Are, Jolly Boat and Natalie McCool and innovative visual artist and Liverpool Art Prize winner Robyn Woolston.
'As a platform to scout the latest talent, and a fantastic opportunity for Liverpool's best to shine. Threshold's worth has never been clearer.' - Bido Lito, April 2013
Threshold's pioneering use of newly developed and underused spaces in the city such as the inaugural festival at CUC Liverpool and the now booming Camp and Furnace, Threshold will continue in this spirit with the use of even more alternative and emerging venues in the flourishing creative quarter of the city.
'This year's qualified success should certainly ensure the return of Threshold in 2014 and the continued growth of the artistic community that surrounds it.' - Peter Guy's Getintothis, March 2013
A huge part of the festival is collaboration and a nod to the people who have contributed to the booming arts and music scene of Liverpool and the north west. Past partnerships include: Waxxx, Antipop, Debt Records, Rebel Soul, The Liverpool Philharmonic, Arena Gallery, Tate Liverpool, Mello Mello and Bold Street Coffee. The event is also a hotbed of experimentation with established artists such as Paddy Steer (Homelife) John Ellis (Cinematic Orchestra) and Graham Massey (808 State) creating bespoke and one off performances for ThresholdFestival. This reputation for collaboration and innovation will be built upon even more this year.
