The Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club (CUTEC) was started by students of Cambridge University and members of the MIT Venture Capital and Private Equity Club to host annually the Technology Ventures Conference (TVC) and to fill the gap of scientific/technology entrepreneurship in Cambridge. Since its inauguration in 2003, the club broadened its activities, supporting startups and providing opportunities to connect with entrepreneurially minded people: (1) events allowing people to broaden their knowledge and skills, (2) startup support for young entrepreneurs through business surgeries, mentoring, and competitions, and (3) enriching the entrepreneurial eco-system worldwide.

Technology Ventures Conference (TVC) takes place every year around June and is the largest student-led entrepreneur conference, aiming to to inspire, enrich, and connect people with interest in technology and entrepreneurship.
