About Susan Rogers:
Susan Rogers was Staff Engineer for Prince during what are arguably his most creatively vibrant period (1983-1987). She has a varied background in both music production and psychoacoustics, and she has also produced hits for artists such as Barenaked Ladies and David Byrne. She has also mixed hit singles for Tricky, Michael Penn, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and more. Her psychoacoustics research focuses on auditory memory, the perception of musical signals, and the influence of musical training on auditory development. She is the course author and instructor for Psychoacoustics in Music Production, part of Berklee Online’s Master of Music in Music Production program.
