Get to know more about Conductive Education for children with CP and other motor disorders.
Conductive Education promotes the comprehensive development of the child’s physical, emotional, social and cognitive self. This is done through active learning and the continual practice of functional skills. The activities are tailored to meet the need of each child’s unique ability. Goals are set for each child and gradually upgraded to promote the development of skills, including fine and gross motor, self-care, communication, academic and social skills.
We are using our dedicated centre and equipment based in Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur to bring together children into a group environment as the principles of Conductive Education believes that the group setting is the best learning environment for children. Members of the group motivate each other while focusing on their individual goals. Children are grouped together by age and ability.
Our students are from 8 months old (maybe infants?) until teenagers: Conductive Education is for all ages! We work in a group setting, the children motivate and cheer for each other. Besides solving various tasks, it is important to put into practice what they learned: they are practising self care activities during the program such as eating, dressing and undressing, and toilet training.
Alexandra Major Bacskai Conductore Teacher Our program director conductor is Alexandra Major-Bacskai, who has a BA degree in Conductive Education from the Peto Institute in Budapest, Hungary. She has 20 years of experience, and during these years, several students of hers became self-confident and successful adults, despite having Cerebral Palsy.

Many people with CP become active members of the society with the help of Conductive Education, and able to live a more independent and happy life. Some of them attend regular education system, have a professions and families.
